Never even got the chance to eat here due to inattentive service and bad attitude. We moved close by and thought what a great idea to go and sit on the patio for lunch. We walked in to the establishment and there was no clear indicator of what to do for seating in the more than half empty restaurant.. After a minute with no attention standing in the doorway, we made our way to the bar where there was a bartender and two servers. Granted they were busy chatting and scurrying around (the bar was not itself busy), but I was completely ignored. As a server passed, I quickly asked if we just sit anywhere. As she turned away, her reply was, "yes, but there are no seats outside." Now I call that hospitality! We left immediately and will not go back. Also, this place is located on the Fox River Trail and there is no bike rack. A half dozen bikes were locked to the deck railing on the entrance.

Jimmys is great on the weekend when they have live music. The view of the river is gorgeous, strong drinks, great crowd fun night!!!

We were in town for Memorial Day weekend and I really wanted to dine somewhere waterfront. When we walked in, there was no one inside at the dining area, but a patron or two seated at the bar. We kind of stood there awkwardly because no one greeted us. So, we went to the outdoor dining area, thinking we'd be greeted there because it appeared everyone was dining outside this day (it was beautiful weather). No one greeted us and we stood there awkwardly as we scanned the tables to see if any were open (there were none). We go back inside and still no one says anything to us. Finally a girl comes over and gives us menus. After that, the service was decent - though slow. The kitchen looked to be about the size of a closet, which may have to do with how slow the food was coming out. They also screwed up my son's wrap (it was supposed to be buffalo chicken), but we waited too long to eat and didn't want to wait for them to make a new one, so we opted for buffalo sauce on the side that he added to his wrap on his own. My husband ordered tater tots as his side, and he got plain fries. He didn't even mention it -- as we had already waited so long for our food and we were just hungry and disappointed that we didn't get to actually sit water side and instead looked at the water and sunshine from inside the dimly lit place. The food was okay - nothing spectacular. They really need to work on greeting people as they walk in the door. Just overall, not an exceptional visit and I'd be hard pressed to want to go back.

The best fish tacos I have ever had. EVER. They also have some really great sandwich options to pick from. The reason I love this place so much is their outside patio in the summer and the strong mixed drinks.

Jimmy Seas was alright. Nothing terrible, but definitely nothing special. The location was acceptable given the spread-out nature of everything in Wisconsin. The exterior of the building was really unattractive, if you would have told me that it was a hardware store or a warehouse, I would have believed you. The fenced -in parking lot also seems a bit curious. The interior was an improvement, though I think it still needs work. The tables in the main dining room were spread extremely far apart - not in a good way, it seemed like they just didn't have enough furniture to fill the place. The table at which my party ended up taking residence was so poorly lit that some of us had to walk over to the windows to read them. The outdoor seating area looks like the main attraction, and the most focused area of the restaurant. There was a barely passable cover band playing outside. Also, as far as I know, there still isn't an indoor smoking ban in Wisconsin, and there didn't seem to be any separation between smokers and non-smokers. At the very least, no one warned us about other patrons' smoking nearby. The waitress took unusually long between visits, even missing a few of our party on the initial drink order. The beer selection was alright for a Green Bay restaurant. They had Guinness on tap which was nice. The food was ok - a slightly more diverse menu than a bar or pub, but everything still came in plastic baskets with paper sheets underneath. I ordered a crab cake sandwich, which was actually pretty good - though the fries were almost soggy. It took forever for our food to arrive, though. I could actually see from my seat that the food for my table was sitting up on a counter near the kitchen for a good 15 minutes or so before being brought over, so the fries definitely had time to stagnate. I wouldn't be opposed to returning here as it could have just been an off-day, or a bad server - but it's not a place I'll be anxious to return to.

Jimmy Seas is one of the few places in Green Bay on the water. It's a nice place with a standard menu of burgers, wraps, salads and starters. While the food is just average, what makes this place is the location and the patio. They do a have nice variety of beers on tap, like two selections of Hinterland. Service was very good as were the prices.

It's definitely past patio season which I'm assuming is their prime time. The patio is on the river and looks beautiful. I sat at the bar because the place was empty and was skeptical..,but was happily surprised as everything was good. The fish tacos were good, the bartender was very nice, and I felt welcome. I will be back to try out the outdoor scene here if I'm in town during patio season!

I really wish we could have eaten outside. The inside décor is nothing special. Kind of loud and you are definitely in a bar. But they have a really nice sandwich selection and pleasant wait-staff.

I've been here only 2 times. The first time I went, we ordered food and it was just ok but that might be my fault since I did order fish and chips (aka fried food). The drinks here are always good and strong. So worth a trip for a night of drinks and friends.

Good dining and great night life. The food is a lot better than your average pub fare and have a wide selection of sandwiches. Different bands every weekend always make for a good time; can't wait until the summer to listen to them out on the patio. They recently installed some new booths, which really open up the dining area and gives it more of a restaurant feel. Summer dining outside always makes for a fresh atmosphere. Bar prices are about average and the bartenders are always friendly and know what they're doing. Overall one of my favorite places in Green Bay for either food or drinks.

The food is decent; somewhat above average bar food. It can get extremely crowded on the weekends. The live music is typically good, but the set up is awful. It's almost impossible to hear anything and with so many people it's impossible to move. The high top tables inside make it that much harder. What's really nice about Jimmy Seas is the patio. During the summer months it's a perfect place to be. There are usually tons of boaters coming and going and they do a decent happy hour from a smaller outdoor bar and yet it's pretty easy to still grab a table. Much more relaxed than other other times. If you haven't been I'd highly recommend a drink or two out on the patio.

We stopped by Jimmy Sea's after an amazing dinner at Marco's Seafood Club to grab a drink and catch the band we saw setting up earlier in the evening. That night, Bay City Swing was playing and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the musicians. This place is much more than just your typical sports pub; they have local bands playing live music most Thursday through Sunday evenings making this establishment a fun hot spot for late night jazz, blues, and swing lovers. Sitting along the Fox River, Jimmy Sea's has an outdoor patio for deck parties during the summer, a marina to anchor your boat, and also a showroom of automobiles ranging from a 1998 Lambo Diablo and a 2003 Dodge Viper, to classic oldies like a '57 Chevy truck, a couple '58 Pontiac Bonnevilles, and even an old 1950 Harley Panhead. With a fun and friendly staff, JS is a great place to host a birthday party, grab a bite to eat and/or a drink, kick back to some live tunes after work, catch the game on 4 HDTVs, or whatever else your heart desires, this place always seems to have something going on ensuring everyone a good time.

Love this place for gathering friends. Wonderful outdoor patio, with occasional bands. Fun holiday/Packer parties. Wait staff nice and friendly (sometimes a little overwhelmed on busy days/nights). Only draw back: eat before you go. Food not so great.
